P3PRO EQUIPMENT
Great Video Starts with a Great Idea
Great video starts with a great idea. But turning that idea into something that looks, sounds, and feels professional requires more than creativity. It requires the right tools—and the experience to know how to use them.
At P3Pro, we’ve built a professional production package designed to take a project from the first shot through the final edit. The result is a production process built around both professional tools and the experience to use them effectively.
Cameras Capturing the Story
At the heart of our production package are three Panasonic EVA1 4K cinema cameras. The EVA1 gives us the image quality, dynamic range, color control, and cinematic flexibility needed for everything from corporate interviews and commercials to multi-camera productions, training programs, events, and branded storytelling.
Because we have three matching cameras, we can capture multiple perspectives simultaneously while maintaining a consistent look throughout the production. Those cameras are paired with three Atomos digital video recorders, giving us additional recording flexibility, professional monitoring, and high-quality digital acquisition.
Canon R5
For projects requiring a smaller footprint, still photography, specialty angles, or a highly mobile camera, we also have a Canon R5. This gives us another option when a project calls for something smaller and more flexible than our larger cinema camera setup.
The result? We can choose the camera for the shot instead of forcing the shot to fit the camera. That flexibility allows us to select the right camera for the needs of the production rather than adapting the production to the limitations of one camera.
Camera Support Smooth and Stable
Great cameras don’t mean much if the picture isn’t stable. Our camera-support package includes five professional fluid-head tripods, allowing our operators to create smooth pans, controlled tilts, rock-solid interviews, and consistent multi-camera coverage.
But sometimes the camera needs to move. Our 48-inch motorized slider with parallax capability creates beautifully controlled cinematic movement, while our video rickshaw with flexible camera mounting gives us another option for moving-camera sequences, tracking shots, and situations where conventional camera support simply won’t work.
GoPros
Sometimes the most interesting perspective isn’t available from a tripod. That’s why our specialty camera package includes two GoPro HERO8 cameras, a HERO10, and a HERO13 with body-mount hardware. These compact cameras allow us to put the audience inside the experience.
Mount one to a person. Put one inside a vehicle. Place one near machinery. Capture a behind-the-scenes perspective. Or position a camera somewhere a conventional cinema camera simply can’t go. One of our HERO8 packages even includes a shotgun microphone and dual bi-color lighting, creating a remarkably capable miniature production system. Small cameras. Big possibilities.
Drone Videography
And sometimes the best camera position isn’t on the ground at all. Our DJI Phantom 4 Pro drone gives us the ability to capture dramatic aerial perspectives that immediately establish location, scale, environment, and context.
For real estate, construction, corporate campuses, manufacturing facilities, tourism, events, agriculture, and commercial properties, aerial imagery can turn an ordinary establishing shot into something memorable. Because sometimes telling the whole story means getting above it.
Professional Audio
Audiences will occasionally forgive an imperfect picture. They rarely forgive bad sound. That’s why audio isn’t an afterthought at P3Pro. Our production package includes eight RØDE wireless microphone systems, giving us the ability to professionally mic executives, presenters, interview subjects, instructors, panelists, and talent while allowing them to move naturally.
For situations where a visible microphone isn’t desirable, we can move the microphone off-camera. Our package also includes two RØDE mini-shotgun microphones, a RØDE G3 shotgun microphone with wind protection, a professional boom pole, and two headset microphones for presentations, demonstrations, training programs, and productions where the speaker needs complete freedom of movement.
Multi Channel Recording
When productions become more complicated, our audio system grows with them. Our Zoom F8n professional digital audio recorder provides sophisticated multi-channel field recording, while the companion sound mixer gives our audio operator precise control over multiple sources.
A 25-foot, 12-channel audio snake, professional XLR cabling, wired condenser microphones, microphone stands, and additional audio accessories allow us to build complete sound systems for interviews, panels, events, and multi-person productions. The goal is simple: Clean voices. Controlled sound. Fewer surprises in post-production.
Voice Overs & Studio Recordings
For voiceovers and studio-quality audio, we have two exceptional microphones: the AKG C214 and AKG C414. Combined with our portable sound booth, these microphones allow us to capture rich, controlled voice recordings while reducing unwanted room reflections and ambient noise.
That means professional narration doesn’t always require renting an outside recording studio. We can bring the studio to the production, giving us a controlled environment for voiceovers and studio-quality audio as part of the production process.
Green Screen & Chroma Key
Sometimes the location you need doesn’t actually exist. That’s where green screen comes in. P3Pro has two complete wall-to-floor green-screen packages, plus additional green-screen material and stands that can be configured into a larger cyclorama-style environment.
We also maintain blue chroma-key material for situations where blue-screen production is more appropriate. With proper lighting and post-production compositing, we can place presenters into virtual environments, branded backgrounds, graphics packages, instructional settings, simulated locations or practically anywhere the story requires. No airline ticket necessary.
Backdrops & Environmental Controls
Not every production needs a physical location. Our collection of black duvetyne, white backdrop material, green screen, and blue chroma-key material allows us to transform ordinary spaces into controlled shooting environments.
A conference room can become an interview studio. A warehouse corner can become a black-box set. An empty room can become almost anything. That flexibility can save clients both time and location expense while giving P3Pro greater control over the production environment.
Professional Lighting
Lighting is one of the biggest differences between simply recording video and creating professional imagery. Our studio package includes four LED studio lights mounted on C-stands, additional C-stands with extension arms, four traveling bi-color LED lights, and four daylight-balanced LED fixtures.
Bi-color lighting allows us to adapt to different environments and color temperatures, while daylight fixtures give us powerful, consistent illumination for location production. Our large soft lights create flattering illumination for interviews and people, while diffusion material, scrims, and light-control equipment allow us to shape intensity and put the light where we want it and keep it away from where we don’t.
Specialty Lighting
Then there are the shots where normal isn’t good enough. Our three Mini-Leko spotlights allow us to create controlled pools of light, accents, patterns, and dramatic highlights.
Our blacklight package, including two square blacklights and a 36-inch tube fixture, opens up creative possibilities for specialty productions, products, events, music videos, and unusual visual effects. With six practical lighting setups, plus light stands, C-stands, diffusion, scrims, modifiers, and light-control accessories, we can build a lighting package around the story rather than settling for whatever light happens to be in the room.
Product Videography
Products deserve more than a camera pointed at them. Our small motorized turntable allows products to rotate smoothly and consistently while the camera remains stationary or moves independently.
Combine that with our motorized slider, controlled lighting, specialty spotlights, diffusion, and macro-style camera work, and an ordinary product demonstration can become a polished commercial presentation. Movement catches the eye. Lighting creates shape. And details create desire.
Atmosphere & Special Effects
Finally, sometimes you need to photograph something that isn’t really an object at all. You need to photograph light. Our fog machine can introduce controlled atmospheric haze that reveals beams of light, adds depth to a scene, separates subjects from backgrounds, and creates dramatically different environments.
Used subtly, the viewer may never even notice the fog. They’ll simply notice that the picture looks better. The effect can remain almost invisible while still changing the way the scene looks and feels.
Equipment Philosophy
At P3Pro, equipment isn’t about collecting gadgets. It’s about possibilities. Multiple 4K cinema cameras give us coverage. Professional audio gives your message clarity. Lighting creates mood. Camera movement creates energy.
Green screen creates environments. Drone videography creates perspective. And specialty equipment helps us capture shots that would otherwise be impossible. But the most important piece of equipment we bring to every production isn’t something you’ll find on this list. It’s experience.
PROFESSIONAL LENSES
Professional Lenses
The Camera Captures the Picture. The Lens Creates the Look.
VOICEOVER: A great camera is only half of the equation. Put the wrong lens on even the finest cinema camera, and you can end up with a perfectly sharp picture that tells the story completely wrong. Because lenses do much more than bring an image into focus. They determine how wide we see, how close we feel, how the background behaves, how dimensional the image appears, and where the viewer’s attention goes. At P3Pro, we maintain an extensive collection of cinema prime, professional zoom, ultra-wide, fisheye, and specialty macro lenses. Why so many? Because there isn’t one perfect lens. There’s a perfect lens for the shot.
Rokinon Cinema Prime Lenses
One Family. Six Distinct Perspectives. At the center of our cinema lens package is a complete set of Rokinon Cinema Prime lenses: 8mm T3.5 Fisheye, 14mm T3.1, 24mm T1.5, 35mm T1.5, 50mm T1.5, 85mm T1.5, and 135mm T2.2. Unlike zoom lenses, prime lenses are built around a fixed focal length. That encourages us to make a deliberate decision about perspective, camera position, composition, and depth. And our fast T1.5 primes give us tremendous creative control over depth of field and available light. In plain English? We can make the background disappear into a beautiful softness while keeping your subject crisp and commanding. Or we can open the scene up and let the environment become part of the story.
8mm Fisheye Lens
8mm Fisheye When Ordinary Isn’t the Objective. Our 8mm Rokinon Fisheye isn’t a lens we use every day. And that’s precisely why we have it. Its dramatically exaggerated perspective can create unusual establishing shots, extreme action perspectives, architectural effects, music-video imagery, creative transitions, and attention-grabbing social content. When the objective is to make the audience stop and think, “Whoa how did they get that shot?” The fisheye may be exactly the answer.
14mm Lens
14mm Show Me the World. Move to our 14mm Rokinon, and we’re still extremely wide but now we’re working with a perspective that’s useful for much more conventional storytelling. It’s excellent when we want to establish a location, photograph architecture, work inside tight spaces, show manufacturing environments, capture large rooms, or make the audience understand the scale of a facility. Sometimes the environment isn’t just the background. It’s part of the story.
24mm Lens
24mm Wide Without Feeling Distant. Our 24mm T1.5 gives us a wonderfully versatile wider perspective. It’s particularly useful when we want the audience to feel physically present in a scene. Environmental interviews, walk-and-talk sequences, demonstrations, corporate facilities, restaurants, workshops and manufacturing floors can all benefit from a lens that shows the subject while still giving the viewer a sense of place. The 24mm lets us say: Here’s the person and here’s their world.
35mm Lens
35mm A Natural, Cinematic Perspective. The 35mm Cinema Prime Lens gives P3Pro one of the most versatile focal lengths in our professional lens collection. Its natural perspective is wide enough to establish an environment while still keeping people and products prominent in the frame, making it an excellent choice for corporate interviews, commercials, product demonstrations, environmental portraits, events, and cinematic storytelling. With its fast aperture, the 35mm excels in available-light situations and gives us precise control over depth of field, allowing backgrounds to fall beautifully out of focus while directing the viewer’s attention exactly where it belongs. As a true cinema-style prime, its geared focus and aperture controls also provide the smooth, deliberate operation required for professional production. The result is imagery that feels natural, dimensional, and cinematic another creative tool that allows P3Pro to choose the right lens not simply to capture the scene, but to help tell the story.
50mm Lens
50mm The Storytelling Workhorse. Then there’s the 50mm T1.5. There’s a reason lenses around this focal length have been storytelling favorites for generations. The 50mm gives us a natural-looking perspective with beautiful subject separation. It’s ideal for interviews, narrative scenes, corporate storytelling, product work, training videos and countless situations where we want the image to feel polished without calling attention to the lens itself. The 50 doesn’t need to shout. It simply makes things look good.
85mm Lens
85mm Making People Look Their Best. For interviews and portraits, the 85mm T1.5 is one of our favorite tools. It allows us to isolate the subject beautifully while producing a flattering perspective and wonderfully soft backgrounds. That’s especially valuable in corporate interviews. We can take an ordinary office, conference room or working environment and transform it into a sophisticated visual backdrop while keeping the person speaking exactly where they belong: At the center of the viewer’s attention.
135mm Lens
135mm Compression, Isolation and Drama. Our 135mm T2.2 takes that concept even further. Longer focal lengths visually compress space, allowing backgrounds to appear closer and creating strong subject isolation. That gives us another powerful option for dramatic interviews, detail shots, exterior photography, event coverage and cinematic B-roll. Sometimes creating a more expensive-looking image isn’t about adding more things to the frame. It’s about taking distractions out of it.
Professional Zoom Lenses
Canon Professional Zoom Lenses. When the Story Doesn’t Stand Still. Prime lenses give us tremendous creative control. But production doesn’t always give us the luxury of changing lenses. That’s why our package also includes three professional Canon zoom ranges: 16 – 35mm f/4, 24 – 105mm f/4, and 70 – 200mm f/4. Together, they provide tremendous focal-length flexibility from sweeping wide shots to tightly framed subjects at a distance.
16 - 35mm Zoom Lens
16 – 35mm Wide-Angle Flexibility. The Canon 16 – 35mm is an extremely useful lens for interiors, architecture, real estate, events, establishing shots, moving-camera sequences and situations where we’re working in confined spaces. Instead of physically changing lenses every time the composition changes, we can quickly fine-tune the frame. That means faster production without sacrificing intentional composition.
24 - 105mm Zoom Lens
24 – 105mm The Swiss Army Knife. Our Canon 24 – 105mm is an extraordinarily versatile production lens. At 24mm, we can establish the environment. At the middle of its range, we can capture natural perspectives. At 105mm, we can isolate subjects and details. That’s particularly valuable during corporate events, live presentations, documentary-style productions and unpredictable situations where the shot can change in seconds. Sometimes you know exactly what’s going to happen next. Sometimes you don’t. That’s when a versatile zoom earns its place in the camera bag.
70 - 200mm Zoom Lens
70 – 200mm Get Close Without Getting in the Way. Our Canon 70 – 200mm allows us to capture close-ups from a considerable distance. That’s extremely important for events, presentations, candid moments and situations where putting a camera three feet from someone’s face would destroy the very moment we’re trying to capture. We can stay out of the action while bringing the action visually closer to the audience.
Sigma 14mm Low Light Lens
Sigma 14mm f/1.8. Wide. Fast. Dramatic. Our Sigma 14mm f/1.8 prime combines an extremely wide field of view with an unusually fast aperture for a lens of this type. That makes it particularly valuable when we’re working in challenging lighting conditions or looking for dramatic wide-angle imagery while maintaining creative control over exposure and depth. Architecture. Large interiors. Night scenes. Industrial environments. Dramatic establishing shots. When we need to go wide without automatically giving up light, this is an exceptional tool to have available.
Laowa 24mm Macro Probe Lens
Laowa 24mm 2X Macro Probe. Go Where Ordinary Lenses Can’t. And then there’s one of the most unusual lenses in our entire production package: The Laowa 24mm 2X Macro Probe Lens with on-lens tip lighting. This isn’t simply another macro lens. It’s a completely different way of seeing the world. The long, narrow probe design allows the camera to get extraordinarily close to and sometimes seemingly inside the subject. We can travel across the surface of a product. Move through food. Explore machinery. Reveal tiny manufacturing details. Photograph textures and components from perspectives that would be physically impossible with a conventional lens. And because the lens provides up to 2X macro magnification, tiny objects can become entire visual landscapes. Imagine following a droplet across the surface of a product. Traveling through the ingredients of a dish. Moving between the components of a piece of machinery. Or beginning on an extreme close-up of a company logo and pulling away to reveal the complete product. These aren’t simply close-ups. They’re discovery shots. And the built-in tip lighting helps us illuminate subjects in spaces where conventional lighting simply can’t reach. It’s the kind of lens we may only use for a handful of shots in a production. But those may be the shots people remember.
Why Lenses Matter
Why Lenses Matter. VOICEOVER: So why does P3Pro maintain this many lenses? Because every lens answers a different storytelling question. Where are we? Reach for the wide angle. Who should I be watching? Choose a fast prime and separate the subject from the background. What’s happening across the room? Bring out the telephoto. What’s that tiny detail nobody has ever noticed before? Bring in the macro probe. Want something completely unexpected? We’ve got a fisheye for that. The focal length, aperture, perspective, camera position and depth of field all influence what the viewer notices and, ultimately, what the viewer feels. That’s why choosing a lens isn’t merely a technical decision. It’s a storytelling decision. At P3Pro, we don’t arrive with one camera and one lens and hope they’ll work for everything. We arrive with options. Because the objective isn’t simply to get the shot. It’s to choose the right tools to make that shot tell your story. P3Pro. The right camera. The right lens. The right perspective.
Editing & Post Production
Editing & Post Production Equipment
Capturing great footage is only the beginning. Editing is where individual images, interviews, graphics, music and sound are transformed into a finished story. P3Pro has invested in an extensive post-production infrastructure designed to handle everything from a straightforward corporate video to complex, multi-camera productions.
Our professional editing equipment gives P3Pro the horsepower to work efficiently with today’s demanding 4K video, multi-camera productions, motion graphics, color correction and sophisticated audio. That means we aren’t simply assembling clips. We’re shaping pacing, emotion and information deciding what the audience sees, when they see it and, ultimately, what they remember.
Professional Editing Systems
Our professional editing equipment gives P3Pro the horsepower to work efficiently with today’s demanding 4K video, multi-camera productions, motion graphics, color correction and sophisticated audio. That means we aren’t simply assembling clips.
We’re shaping pacing, emotion and information deciding what the audience sees, when they see it and, ultimately, what they remember. Great editing should almost be invisible. The viewer shouldn’t be thinking about the edit. They should be thinking about your story.
20 Digital Drives
Professional video creates an enormous amount of data. P3Pro maintains approximately 20 digital drives dedicated to the storage, organization and management of production assets.
That capacity becomes especially important when projects involve multiple cameras, 4K footage, graphics, photographs, music, voiceovers and numerous versions of a finished program. Our extensive digital storage infrastructure allows us to efficiently manage the mountain of media that can accumulate during production and post-production. Your project isn’t just a video file. It’s an entire collection of valuable digital assets—and we treat it that way.
Dedicated Graphics Computer
Today’s audiences expect more than great photography. Titles, lower thirds, logos, animated graphics, charts, diagrams, maps, product callouts and visual effects can turn information into communication.
That’s why P3Pro maintains a dedicated graphics computer specifically for creating and processing the visual elements that enhance our productions. Instead of graphics being an afterthought, they become another storytelling tool helping simplify complicated ideas, reinforce your brand and keep viewers engaged. Because sometimes the camera shows the story. And sometimes graphics explain it.
Tricaster
For live events, streaming and multi-camera productions, P3Pro’s TriCaster gives us capabilities once associated primarily with television studios and production trucks. The TriCaster allows multiple video sources to be brought together into a coordinated production environment.
Cameras, graphics, titles, prerecorded video and other elements can be integrated and switched during a live production. That makes it particularly valuable for corporate events, presentations, conferences, panel discussions, interviews and live-streaming productions, allowing us to create something that feels much more like a professionally directed television program.
The Equipment Behind the Equipment
Cameras may get most of the attention and admittedly, they’re a lot more fun to show off. But behind every professional production is another collection of technology most clients never see: editing systems, storage, graphics workstations and production switching equipment.
P3Pro has built that infrastructure because owning a great camera is only one part of professional video production. You have to be able to capture the footage, protect it, organize it, edit it, enhance it and deliver it. That’s the difference between simply owning video equipment and having a complete production capability.
ADOBE CREATIVE CLOUD
Adobe Creative Cloud
Having powerful computers, cameras and storage is important. But ultimately, hardware is only as capable as the software and the people driving it. That’s why P3Pro’s post-production workflow is built around Adobe Creative Cloud.
Adobe gives us an integrated collection of professional tools that allows a project to move from raw camera footage to a polished, branded, finished production all within a connected creative environment.
Adobe Premiere Pro
At the center of our editing workflow is Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe’s professional nonlinear video editing system. Premiere Pro gives P3Pro the ability to work with 4K footage, multiple cameras, interviews, B-roll, music, voiceovers, graphics and complex timelines within a single production environment.
But editing isn’t simply deciding where one shot ends and another begins. It’s about timing. It’s about knowing when to let an interview breathe, when to cut to a reaction, when to introduce music, when to reveal a product and when to get out of the way and allow the story to speak for itself. Premiere Pro gives us the tools. Experience tells us when to use them.
Adobe After Effects
Sometimes editing isn’t enough. That’s where Adobe After Effects comes in. After Effects allows P3Pro to create sophisticated motion graphics, animated logos, titles, visual effects, compositing, tracking and other graphic elements that would be difficult or impossible to create with traditional editing alone.
A logo doesn’t simply have to appear. It can arrive. A statistic doesn’t simply have to sit on the screen. It can become part of the presentation. After Effects helps us transform ordinary information into visual communication that attracts attention without distracting from the message.
Adobe Photoshop
Adobe Photoshop remains one of the most recognized professional image-editing applications in the world, and it plays an important role in video production as well. P3Pro can use Photoshop to prepare photographs, clean up images, create graphic elements, build composites, resize and optimize artwork, prepare backgrounds and develop visual assets.
That becomes especially valuable when we’re working with a client’s existing photographs, logos, historical materials or marketing assets. Instead of simply dropping those materials into a video, we can prepare them so they actually belong in the production.
Adobe Illustrator
Logos and graphics frequently need to be resized dramatically. That’s where Adobe Illustrator becomes particularly valuable. Because Illustrator specializes in vector-based artwork, properly created logos and graphic elements can remain crisp whether they’re appearing in the corner of a video, filling a presentation screen or being incorporated into other marketing materials.
For P3Pro, Illustrator helps us maintain something extremely important throughout a production: Brand consistency. Your logo, typography, colors and graphic identity shouldn’t change simply because you’ve moved from print to video.
Adobe Audition
People frequently talk about the importance of picture quality. They don’t always talk enough about sound. Adobe Audition provides professional tools for editing, cleaning, mixing and enhancing audio.
That can include dialogue, interviews, voiceovers, music, sound effects and other elements of a production’s soundtrack. Because viewers may tolerate an imperfect picture for a moment, but poor audio can make even beautiful video feel unprofessional. The goal isn’t merely to make something louder. It’s to make the dialogue clear, the music supportive and the entire soundtrack feel intentional.
Adobe Media Encoder
One video may ultimately need to become many different files. A corporate master. A website version. A presentation file. A YouTube upload. A vertical social-media piece. A short promotional clip.
Adobe Media Encoder helps P3Pro create optimized versions of finished productions for different platforms, resolutions and delivery requirements. In other words, we’re not simply asking, “Is the video finished?” We’re asking, “Where is the audience going to watch it?” Because a video isn’t truly finished until it’s properly prepared for the place it’s going to be seen.
Integrated Creative Workflow
Perhaps the greatest advantage of Adobe Creative Cloud isn’t any single application. It’s how the applications work together. An editor can move between Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator, Audition and Media Encoder, using specialized tools for each part of the production while maintaining a coordinated workflow.
That becomes especially valuable when changes happen and in professional video production, changes happen. A client updates a logo. A photograph needs to be corrected. A graphic needs animation. An interview requires audio cleanup. A new version needs to be created for social media. Rather than treating each of those as an entirely separate process, Adobe’s ecosystem allows those creative disciplines to work together.
Why Industry Standards Matter
There’s another reason P3Pro works with professional, widely adopted production tools: Compatibility. Professional video production rarely exists in isolation. We may receive logos from an advertising agency, photographs from a photographer, graphics from a designer, footage from another production company or files created years earlier.
Likewise, our finished materials may eventually need to go to another editor, broadcaster, agency, marketing department or production facility. Working with established professional tools, formats and workflows helps make those exchanges far easier. That’s what industry standards are really about. They’re not about using expensive software simply because everyone else does. They’re about creating a professional workflow where people, equipment, software and media can work together.
